Step 1: Create an Account on the Animus Network

Step 2: Download Required Files

VPN Client & Configuration

Download the SoftEther VPN client and configuration file.

Download VPN Client Download VPN Config
Windows Launcher

Download the Windows launcher script and configuration file.

Download _ACBMP.bat Download _ACBMP.ini

Step 3: Install and Configure SoftEther VPN

  1. Run the SoftEther-VPN-Client.exe installer
  2. Choose the first option SoftEther VPN Client and complete the installation
  3. Open the SoftEther VPN Client Manager
  4. Right-click and select Import VPN Connection Setting...
  5. Select the downloaded Animus-Network.vpn configuration file
  6. Double-click the Animus Network server and wait for the Connected status
Note: If you have to enter a computer name while setting up the VPN, you can use any name you prefer.

Step 4: Configure the Launcher

  1. Place both _ACBMP.bat and _ACBMP.ini in your Assassin's Creed Brotherhood game directory (where ACBMP.exe is located).
  2. Edit the _ACBMP.ini file and update your credentials:
    • Leave serverIP empty
    • Set onlineUser to your Animus Network username
    • Set onlinePassword to your Animus Network password

Step 5: Launch the Game

  1. Right-click on _ACBMP.bat and select Run as administrator
  2. In the game's main menu, go to Options > Anti-Cheating and set it to Off
Troubleshooting:
  • Run _ACBMP.bat as Administrator
  • Keep SoftEther VPN connected while playing
  • If you encounter issues:
    • Move the game folder to Documents or Downloads
    • Disable other VPN services
    • Check the status page

Done! The game should now connect to the Animus Network server when launched using the batch file.
