Frequently Asked Questions

On a clean Windows install, ACRMP.exe may fail to start due to missing runtime components.

Required dependencies:

  • Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables: 2005, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013, and 2015-2022 (x86 & x64)
  • DirectX End-User Runtime

While the newer v14 redistributables (2017-2026) may work, we recommend using the 2015-2022 version because x360ce only works with these.

Recommended fix:

  1. Ensure that all installed versions of the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables are completely uninstalled.
  2. Install all Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables (x86 and x64) from our bundle.
  3. Install the DirectX End-User Runtime.
  4. Try launching ACRMP.exe again.

If the script closes instantly or doesn't add any VPN configuration in
Settings > Network & Internet VPN
Windows restricts the script from running. To fix this, follow these steps:

  1. Press WIN+S
  2. Search for PowerShell, right-click and select Run as administrator
  3. Run this command: Set-ExecutionPolicy Bypass
  4. Then run the VPN script again
  5. After successful execution, you should restore your security settings with:
    Set-ExecutionPolicy Restricted

Controller issues should already be fixed within Claudia which is part of the Windows Setup. However, Claudia is only valid for ACB though! For ACR you need to follow the x360ce setup guide displayed at the bottom of the Setup page.

You can recover your account using the Forgot Credentials feature on the login page. You'll receive an email containing your username and instructions to reset your password.

Known Issues

#1 - Server instability / Connection issues
Investigating

Due to a high server load or inconsistent / high ping to the server, the network connection can become unstable. In that case, the following issues may occur:

  • Slow matchmaking or session creation
  • Server disconnects
  • Login issues:
    • Players may be unable to log in / stuck on loading screen
    • Players may appear as level 1: just a visual bug, doesn't affect anything and will be fixed by the next game restart
    • Players may encounter empty friend lists: this may affect functionality, a game restart is strongly recommended
    • Players may not see their username and level after logging in: - invisible in the top right corner of the main menu - this counts as an invalid / null client, a game restart is required!

Possible Workaround:
If the login process takes longer than 15 seconds, you may consider to keep restarting your game or try again later.
